She Told Me Save the Flower

MARCH 4 – MARCH 18, 2023 / OFFSITE EXHIBITION at MY GALLERY NYC

An exhibition of feminist paintings, drawings, and writing by incarcerated writer and artist Corey Devon Arthur, presented at My Gallery NYC in collaboration with Empowerment Avenue, Fulton Art Fair, and the Brooklyn Quaker Meeting. Conceived and implemented by Corey Arthur from prison, where he has been for 25 years, the exhibition expresses a message of healing in the face of the brutality of the carceral system.

Corey Arthur’s Save the Flower Project is currently housed at Footnote Project Space, where it can be viewed by appointment. Community groups are encouraged to visit for a Save the Flower Project viewing, video screening and short presentation.
